Taking the “geek” out of computer store design - The company’s roots were based in the wholesale and internet market but the directors wished to migrate the business to high street/edge-of-town retailing. Strategic Retail Design’s work has repositioned Novatech firmly in the edge of town retail marketplace alongside competitors such as “PC World” and “The Tech Team”. The priority was to develop a brand and logo that addressed itself to a wider customer high street profile, not just to the electronics “geek” trade. Sophisticated merchandise presentation systems were developed based on a lot of “self help” leading to a Knowledgeable purchase point.
