Re-developing the name and brand creation for Home Bargains to create a nationwide positioning
Working for the best names in retail - TJ Morris, started over 30 years ago and since the first opening in Liverpool, the business has grown organically to become one of the biggest privately owned companies in the UK (The Sunday Times Top Track 250, 2008). The company now boasts over 170 stores and employs more than 4,000 people. It is one of the largest businesses in Merseyside and is the second largest grocer in the country according to The Grocer Magazine, March 2009).
Our retail design brief - was to enable T J Morris to acquire improved mall locations. This we achieved by rationalising the existing name ‘Home and Bargain' and developing a new retail identity thus re-positioning the brand and improving the companies reach and appeal to customers outside the existing marketplace.
