2: Concept Design

The concept phase covers numerous aspects of the overall project, typically:
• Name generation and brand/logo creation
• Shop/Store front and window display
• Strategic positioning and repositioning
• Shop/Store interior space planning
• Merchandise fixturing and display
• Customer services, cash taking etc.
• Colours, materials and decorative elements
• Lighting and mechanical service requirements
• Graphic elements, POS ticketing etc.
• Budget and programme implications

Concept work is presented in the form of drawings, visuals or models as appropriate, to enable you to be able to visualise the finished concept as it might be applied to your retail premises, store or chain.
