Setting the benchmark in graphic communication for Allders’ home market
Home catalogue shopping at its best – Every year Allders produced a Home shopping catalogue to showcase its wide ranging selection of merchandise available instore. The 8 million 120 page catalogues were distributed via mail to past shoppers and also available in-store.
The design and strategic mission - Two top strategic areas were addressed; firstly to position the department store in customers' minds as a shopping experience of quality. Secondly to present to potential customers the extensive range of fashionable products that otherwise they might miss when shopping only parts of the store. The design work we handled for the Allders marketing team involved originating the overall style and feel of the catalogue, detailed layouts, all the photography, location selection, product logistics and overall art direction, culminating in the final printing.
